Do you do taxes?
I specialize in Human Resource information for small businesses and can prepare 1099’s, file payroll taxes, file payroll returns and any related employee paperwork to your state and the IRS. I also file sales and use taxes and will work with your accountant or CPA to get things ready for tax season.
However, I am not a Certified Public Accountant and I strongly recommend that you hire a licensed CPA to prepare yearly company taxes on your behalf. If you’re uncertain if your accountant qualifies, check their license status here: https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/consumers/lookup.shtml.
What can I expect at our first meeting?
Please bring anything you currently use to track your bills and finances. A box of receipts, a folder of statements, or a seldom used accounting software we will review it together and discuss how I can help you achieve your personal and professional goals. During this time, I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Is it expensive?
The first consultation is free. The initial set-up which will incur a one time fee that is determined by the complexity and time involved to get your accounts up-to-date. After the initial setup, your transactions will be categorized, accounts reconciled, bills paid, and reports prepared on a monthly basis. This is covered by your monthly retainer.
